Mario Fausto
Is a distinguished and experienced corporate securities attorney in Silicon Valley, California. He is the founding shareholder and President of Fausto Law, P.C. Mario has offered legal services since 1999 in the areas of general business advisory, corporate securities, general civil litigation, real estate and trust and estate matters.
Mario has successfully represented clients in venture financing, start-up organization, mergers and acquisition, real estate transactions, intellectual property protection and general corporate matters. His representative transactions range from $1M to $60M, and span cross-border transactions from Japan, Mexico, Brazil and Europe.
After graduating from Santa Clara University, School of Law in 1999, Mario began his legal career at Sun Microsystems Computer Company assisting in its Latin American corporate expansion. Prior to his work at SMCC, he spent over 2 years working at the Consulado de Mexico ("Mexican Consulate") representing Mexican immigrants transitioning assets from the USA to Mexico and vice-versa. After graduating from Santa Clara Law School (having completed a summer internship) he worked at the law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen, LLP.
He participated as a founding member of Vositech Wireless de Mexico, a Mexican manufacturing and distribution company for wireless communication equipment. His vast business and legal experience (domestically and internationally) offer clients legal and business advice that is agile and scaleable - appropriate in addressing today's constantly evolving business and legal environment.
Mario advises clients in complex securities laws matters (transactions and litigation), corporate governance (board and shareholder fiduciary issues), shareholder oppression (prosecution and defense), real estate transactions, civil litigation (including construction and business litigation), and estate planning.
Throughout his career, Mario has strived to be a tenacious advocate for his clients and a trusted advisor. He believes in providing high-quality legal services that are cost-effective and result oriented.
In 2012 he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni of the Year San Jose State University- 2012 for his commitment to community service and higher education. He is committed to his community as an advocate for pro-bono services. He volunteers as a manager/coach for local little league and soccer teams.
